On May 29, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, led by Asst. Prof. Kittipong Riabroi, M.D., M.Sc. (Dean) extended a warm welcome to Prof. Yoon Soo Park, Ph.D. and Prof. Ara Tekian, Ph.D., MHPE, from University of Illinois Chicago, USA, on the occasion of collaborative meeting on the establishment of the International Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE). Organizing the courses at MEDPSU by the world renown esperts, this prospective MHPE program will be minimizing the funding for the education overseas and maximizing the capacity of health sciences education production with the same standards of teaching.
The delegates gave a special talk on ‘Medical Education, Trends and Opportunities’ and ‘Worldwide Perspective on MHPE Degree Programs’. In addition to the Faculty of Medicine executives, the PSU board, deans and representatives from the health sciences faculties, as well as, delegates from the consortium of Thai Medical Schools medical schools in Thailand also join the meeting on-site and online.
